Alert i Puig, Josep
(Igualada, 1966). A history graduate, Josep Alert has worked in teaching and in journalism in the local and regional media. He has worked in community and technical outreach projects for culture on a municipal level. He participates in research and outreach projects related to cultural heritage and historical memory. Currently, he works in the field of cultural organisation and cultural tourism. In 2013 he was commissioned by Manresa Town Council to coordinate a year in celebration of the writer Joaquim Amat-Piniella. He is the coauthor, along with Pol Huguet, of a guidebook to the Sèquia park in Manresa, titled La Sèquia de Manresa (Cossetània, 2014).
