The Stories of Tiantian is a series of readers matching Textbooks 1-4 of Easy Steps to Chinese. For each of the four levels, there are five readers, each telling three stories, matching the three lessons in each unit of Easy Steps to Chinese. The readers describe the adventures of a secondary school student called Tiantian. This volume 1A is matching all language versions of Qingsong Xue Zhongwen (Easy Steps to Chinese) textbook 1. Tiantian de Gushi fills a very important gap in the teaching of Qingsong Xue Zhongwen and therefore is an important instrument for teachers to use in the classroom.

Ms. Yamin Ma holds a B.A. of British Language and Literature and an M.Ed. in Curriculum Design and Development. She is now teaching Chinese as a foreign language in an international school in Hong Kong. With many years experience in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, she has done a thorough research for a long time on the Chinese AP test in the USA and Chinese IB test in Europe. Her research interests include English Language Teaching, Chinese Language Teaching and Pedagogical Psychology. Her academic papers have been read and published for many times in international seminars.
