Detalles del libro

This volume explores the substance and manner in which the member countries of the EU and their Asian counterparts interact at bilateral, multi-lateral and inter-regional levels. It fills the gap in market for up-to-date text looking at EU-Asia relations. Both EU and Asian regions have increased profiles in terms of international relations and economic power in the past two decades and this edited volume considers how they themselves inter-relate at a number of different levels. It has particular strength in its coverage of 'Greater China' relations with Europe and on the inclusion of India, the new rising giant of Asia and increasingly a focus of European interest.Europe and Asia are two major centres for the development of multi-polar and multi-lateral relations. This volume explores the substance and manner in which the member countries of the EU and their Asian counterparts interact at bilateral, multi-lateral and inter-regional levels.
