Detalles del libro
The unparalleled poet Mostafa Ibrahim is one of the most prominent voices of the 25th January Revolutiongeneration... I don't think anyone could try to understand this generation - which has sacrificed its life and continues to do so to achieve the demands of the Revolution - without reading this collection and meditating on its spirit Bilal Fadl
Born in 1986, Mostafa Ibrahim is being hailed by no less than Egypt's greatest living poet Ahmed Fuad Negm as his heir to the throne of poetry. Others such as Alaa Al Aswany and Ibrahim Essa have praised him and introduced him in their cultural salon and TV program respectively.
His first volume, released in 2011, sold 3,000 copies in less than 6 months and has been out of print for many months. More established poets would only dream of selling this much in 5 years. Mostafa is an excellent reciter/performer and is very active publicly, appearing on TV, poetry events, etc.
One of his poems about the martyrs of the revolution was adapted as a song and became very popular.
