The book consists of small, fascinating stories. The stories describe adventures of twins Vanya and Masha. While on vacation with his grandmother in a village, they not only get acquainted with peculiarities of everyday life of the villagers, but also fall into a fairy tale, where they meet a mermaid, Baba-Yaga, Zmey-Gorynych. 

This book isn't a tutorial, but there are exercises after each story. They're more like a game than exercises in the usual sense of the word.
