Fisher Professor of English at the University of Pennsylvania, coauthor of Racial Melancholia, Racial Dissociation: On the Social and Psychic Lives of Asian Americans, and author of The Feeling of Kinship: Queer Liberalism and the Racialization of Intimacy and Racial Castration: Managing Masculinity in Asian America, all also published by Duke University Press. Jasbir K. Puar is Professor of Women's and Gender Studies at Rutgers University-New Brunswick and author of The Right to Maim: Debility, Capacity, Disability and Terrorist Assemblages: Homonationalism in Queer Times, both also published by Duke University Press.
