Roman "Idiot" (1868) byl zaduman i napisan Dostoevskim v Shvejtsarii, na rodine velikogo prosvetitelja Russo, a posemu umestno vspomnit i ego sovremennika Voltera, avtora "Prostodushnogo", knigi, kotoraja stala odnoj iz pervykh popytok pokazat "idealnogo cheloveka" v etom nesovershennom mire. "Glavnaja ideja... - pisal Dostoevskij o svoem romane, - izobrazit polozhitelno prekrasnogo cheloveka. Trudnee etogo net nichego na svete..." Ne dlja togo li Dostoevskij javil miru "Knjazja Khrista", chtoby my ne zabyvali: "Sostradanie est glavnejshij i, mozhet byt, edinstvennyj zakon bytija vsego chelovechestva".




La novela El idiota (1868) fue concebida y escrita por Dostoievski en Suiza, en la patria del gran ilustrador Rousseau, y por ello conviene recordar a su contemporáneo Voltaire, autor de El inocente, libro que fue uno de los primeros intenta mostrar la "persona ideal" en este mundo imperfecto. "La idea principal ..." escribió Dostoievski sobre su novela, "es retratar a una persona positivamente bella. No hay nada más difícil en el mundo ..."   No fue por esto que Dostoievski mostró al mundo al "Príncipe de Cristo" para que no olvidemos: "La compasión es la más importante y, quizás, la única ley de la existencia de toda la humanidad".

It was not for this that Dostoevsky showed the world the "Prince of Christ" so that we do not forget: "Compassion is the most important and, perhaps, the only law of the existence of all humanity."
