Núcleos de interés muy próximos al niño y a su mundo: la familia, los amigos, la casa, la escuela, la comida, los animales, los juegos y las fiestas.
Contenidos lingüísticos ( léxicos y temáticos), adaptados a la edad y al nivel de competencia de lectura y escritura de los niños.
Gradación de contenidos desde el primer nivel (vocabulario aproximando de 250 palabras) hasta el cuarto (vocabulario de unas 1000 palabras).
Aprendizaje controlado de actividades lúdicas, creativas, variadas, a través de un diseño sugerente y de propuestas didácticas divertidas.
Recursos frecuentes ( especialmente en el cuaderno) a actividades relacionadas con las manualidades (colorear, pegar, doblar, ..).

Reinforcement of positive social values: respect for others, racial,ásexual and social equality, love of nature... two workbooks (each corresponding to a school year), a teacher's book and audiocassettes.
