Author Biography: Suzanne Jill Levine is a professor of Latin American literature at the University of California at Santa Barbara and a noted translator of contemporary Latin American literature. A PEN Award recipient, she is the author of several books, including The Subversive Scribe: Translating Latin American Fiction.
