A practical chinese grammar is a textbook intented for foreign learners for a comprehensive and systematic study of Chinese Grammar. Since the publication in 1992 , it has been used by many colleges and universities as the textbook of intermediate and advanced Chinese Grammar as well as teacher's reference, having brought about an extensive influence in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. In 2001, its revised edition and the answers to the exercices were published.
