The manual is intended for work in groups of foreign pupils under the program of first level TORFL. The manual includes theoretical (comments and tables) and practical (tasks of comparative, language and speech character) parts. Themes: Expression of the certain attitudes, express attitudes, the reason, a condition in a complex sentence, concessive attitudes, consequence, the purpose, time, comparison, a measure and a degree in a complex sentence. Each theme is finished with the texts taken from classic literature, newspaper and journals.
