Biografía del autor
William Wordsworth was born in Cockermouth England on 7 April 1770 and was orphaned at a young age. He attended Cambridge University in 1787 where he met Samuel Taylor Coleridge. He published his first poems in 1793 in Descriptive Sketches and An Evening Walk. Soon after these collections, he wrote his most famous works, 'Lines composed a few miles above Tintern Abbey' and Lyrical Ballads, a collaboration with Coleridge, in 1798. He married MaryHutchinson, a childhood friend, in 1802, and they had five children. Wordsworth was named poet laureate in 1843. He died in Rydal Mount on 23 April 1850 and was buried in Grasmere alongside his sister, wife and children.
